- July 2001 : Foundation of AUTO CABLES TUNISIE, a joint venture between the group Pirelli Cables and Systems Limited Company (France) and TUNISIE CABLES (Tunisia).
- June 2002 : Start of the first productions of T2 wires for the car market
- 2003 : Increase in sales over 1,000 tons of cables sold during the same year.
- February 2004 : acquiring ISO 9001 and ISO TS 16949 certifications
Installation of a new extrusion line to enable the manufacturing of PE insulated cables.
- June 2005 : the manufacturing process of T3 cables IDZH is made eligible by the customer Valeo (now Leoni).
- September 2006: Qualification of the manufacturing process of PVC cables T3 is made eligible by the customer Yazaki.
- 2007 : FIAT approves T2 wires
- 2008 : Installation of a new extrusion line to meet the increasing size of the Tunisian market.
